Black and white steam locomotive photo of the 4-2-4T engine named after the third President of the Southern Pacific Company (parent company of the Southern Pacific Railroad). Built in 1863 by the Cook Locomotive works. The engine is currently on display at the California State Railroad Museum. My Uncle Joe captured the engine at rest in the Sacramento Shops on July 1, 1938.
